NOTICE OF TAX FORECLOSURE SALE NORTH CAROLINA ONSLOW COUNTY IN THE GENERAL COURT OF JUSTICE DISTRICT COURT DIVISION FILE NO. 15-CVD-4009 COUNTY OF ONSLOW Plaintiff, vs. ROBERT LYNN HUMPHREY, AND WIFE WENDY D. HUMPHREY, Defendants, DON E. FUQUAY, TRUSTEE FOR GREEN TREE FINANCIAL SERVICING CORPORATION, US DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY, INTERNATIONAL REVENUE SERVICE, NC DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, CRAVEN REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, Lienholders. Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Onslow County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled "COUNTY OF ONSLOW vs ROBERT LYNNE HUMPHREY AND WIFE, WENDY D. HUMPHREY," the undersigned commissioner will on the 29th day of June, 2017, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Onslow County, North Carolina, in Jacksonville at 10:00 a.m. the following described real property, lying and being in Jacksonville Township, State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows : Being all of Lot 1A as shown on survey entitled "Lot Recombination for Glenn M. Humphrey and wife, Shirley J. Humphrey", dated April 24, 1997 prepared by Charles A. Rawls and Associates recorded in Map Book 34, Page 211, Slide J-478, Onslow County Registry, to which reference is had for a more full and complete description. See deed recorded in Deed Book 1379, Page 539, Onslow County Registry. The property to be offered pursuant to this Notice of Sale is being offered for sale, transfer and conveyance "as is, where is." The Commissioner makes no representation or warranty relating to the title to the within described real property, or to any physical, environmental, health or safety conditions existing in, on at or relating to the property being offered for sale, and any and all responsibilities or liabilities arising out of or in any way relating to any such conditions are hereby expressly disclaimed. The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgement in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid or $750.00, whichever is greater, is required immediately upon conclusion of the bidding. The sale will be held open for ten (10) days for upset bids as required by law. Following the expiration of the statutory upset period, all remaining amounts shall immediately become due and owing.
