NOTICE OF DISCHARGE OF UNTREATED SEWAGE The City of Havelock Utility Department had a discharge of untreated wastewater from Manhole G111 located on Oakwood Drive of approximately 21,750 gallons. The discharge occurred on June 11, 2018 for approximately 4 hours. The untreated wastewater entered into Caps Branch, which flows into Slocum Creek in the Neuse River Basin. The City of Havelock is actively engaged with an engineering firm to make repairs and plan for improvements to the collection system, in order to prevent further discharges.
