A telephone triage nurse is a nursing professional that can elicit information necessary during a brief telephone conversation with a patient to assess and determine what type of care the patient may need. They asses the urgency and illness of the patient situation and may discuss those needs with the clinical supervisor or providers. Triage Nurse may discuss post-surgical wound care and medications. The nurse will follow the telephone triage protocol. Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies. Minimum of 3 years experience required.

FRONT OFFICE REPRESENTATIVE

PART-TIME POSITION IN OUR NEW BERN CLINIC

A non-exempt position is responsible for greeting all patients and visitors in and out of the clinic. Checking in or checking out all established and new patients and verifying and updating demographic changes and adding new medical problems to their record. Verifies insurance and patient financial responsibilities. Schedules appointments. Completes daily cash handling, checks and credit card processing.
