NOTICE OF TAX FORECLOSURE SALE Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Lenoir County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled "COUNTY OF LENOIR vs. DOROTHY P. DAWSON and spouse, if any, and all possible heirs and assignees of DOROTHY P. DAWSON and spouse, if any, or any other person or entity claiming thereunder, et al, 15-CVD-449, the undersigned Commissioner will on the 27th day of February, 2017, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction at the courthouse door in Lenoir County, North Carolina, Kinston, North Carolina at 12:00 o'clock, noon, the following described real property, lying and being in Falling Creek Township, State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows: A certain lot or parcel of land in the City of Kinston, Falling Creek Township, Lenoir County, and bounded as follows: BEGINNING at a stake in the eastern line of Sycamore Avenue near the City of Kinston (and in Falling Creek Township, all as shown on the map hereinafter mentioned), which beginning stake is located North 8-10 West 60 feet along the eastern line of Sycamore Avenue from the northeast corner of the intersection of Sloan Street and Sycamore Avenue, and runs thence North 8-10 West with the eastern line of Sycamore Avenue 60 feet to a stake; thence North 81-50 East 125 feet to a stake; thence South 8-10 East 60 feet to a stake; thence South 81-50 West 125 feet to a stake in the eastern line of Sycamore Avenue, the point of beginning. And being Lots Nos. 4, 5, and 6 in Block "F" as shown on a map of "Rochelle's Corner" appearing of record in Map Book 5, page 31, Lenoir County Registry, reference to which is hereby made as a part of this description. Subject to restrictive covenants and easements of record. Parcel Identification Number: 4505-12-9578-03 The undersigned Commissioner makes no warranties in connection with this property and specifically disclaims any warranties as to title and habitability. This property is being sold as is, without opinion as to title or any other matter. This sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A cash deposit of 20 percent of the successful bid will be required. In addition, the successful bidder will be required, at the time the Deed is recorded to pay for recording fees and revenue stamps assessed by the Lenoir County Register of Deeds.
