Public notice is required before the NCDEQ DWM will approve the report. In accordance with the North Carolina General Statutes, a set of Groundwater Classifications and Standards have been put in place for the protection of all groundwater across the state. Since MCB CAMLEJ is located in Onslow County and is involved in groundwater remediation, the law requires that the public be informed of proposed activities.
