Section 160A-299 prescribes the procedure to be followed by a town in order to permanently close a street or alley; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for the Town of Bridgeton has determined that it is advisable to consider permanently closing the portion of Bridge Street located between E Street and Highway 17; and WHEREAS, in order for a municipality to property and lawfully permanently close a street, N.C.
