Hendricks Commercial Properties, LLC, is considering purchasing a 24 acre parcel of county-owned land and shell building (Lot 6) in Burton Business &Industrial Park, Onslow County, North Carolina and leasing it to its affiliate, ABC Supply Company, Inc. , with a total investment of $2,575,000 and the creation of approximately seventeen new jobs within the first three years. The average annual wage will exceed Onslow County’s average annual wage. The economic incentive offered by the County is for site improvements, including purchase and upfit of the building, with the County contributing up to $58,000. The company’s operations will be a local, wholesale distribution point for exterior building products. The Board will discuss and conduct a public hearing on the company’s offer to purchase the 24 acre parcel of county-owned land (Lot 6) located in Burton Business & Industrial Park, 485 W.C.
