Housing Authority of the City of New Bern Request for Proposal For Retirement and Pension Plan Services The Housing Authority of the City of New Bern, NC is seeking Proposals from qualified Retirement Plan Administrators to provide retirement plan investment and management services for the Housing Authority of the City of New Bern (NBHA) under a three year contract with two one year renewals options. Housing Authority of the City of New Bern (NBHA) is a public entity that was formed to provide federally subsidized housing and housing assistance to low-income families, within the City of New Bern, NC. NBHA is governed by a nine-person Board of Commissioners and has three major Housing developments and employs under 50 staff. Currently, the NBHA owns and/or manages 579 housing units throughout the City of New Bern. The current value of all retirement investments is approximately $1.3 million dollars. In addition, the current Pension Plan Administrator also provides term life insurance coverage at 150% of employee salary, including AD&D and Waiver of Premium. The plan may include appropriate age phase out limitations. Responders also may bid on the Pension Plan Administration without inclusion of term life coverage.
